Chipping process – Wood chipper
If there are logs in your raw materials, you need to know that the logs are too big in diameter to be put directly into the crusher, not to mention directly into the pelletizer for pelletizing, so you need a chipper for chipping. With the wood chipper you can chip the wood logs to thin chips with a diameter of 3-5mm, and then you can go to the pulverizing section.

Before putting the raw materials into the pelletizer to make wood fuel pellets, we need to process the raw materials into 2-3mm wood chips, if the raw materials are too long, we need to make them into the right size. And, this will need to use the wood crusher.

- When your raw material is fresh grass, the moisture content is about 50%, it is recommended that you can configure with a dryer for drying.
- And if your raw material is dry wood chips, the moisture content is less than 20%, you can directly go to the pelletizing section.
- If your raw material is dry, the moisture content is about 30%, but the climate of your place is dry, and your production output is not so high, in order to save your investment cost, you can also not configure the dryer, natural drying can be done.
