(1) Wood cutting process
Wooden raw materials (such as logs and scraps) are transported by a conveyor to a drum cutting machine, where they are initially cut into 2-3cm wooden chips using a high-speed rotating cutter head; Subsequently, the material enters the “crushing section” and is further crushed to 5-10mm by toothed rollers or hammers, laying the foundation for subsequent processing.
(2) Wood crushing technology
In the next stage, after preliminary slicing, the crushed materials are transported by a conveyor to a “wood hammer mill”, where they are crushed into 3–5mm wood chips through high-speed rotating hammers and mesh screens, meeting the pellet size requirements of the drying process.
(3) Wood drying process
The crushed wood chips are blown into the “storage bin” for temporary storage by the “air delivery system”, and evenly fed into the “drum dryer” by the variable frequency conveyor; After drying, it is transported to the granulation section through a closed fan.
(4) Wood granulation process
Then the dry wood chips are fed into the “variable frequency impeller feeder” through a conveyor, and uniform feeding is achieved through speed adjustment; The material enters the extrusion chamber of the “ring mold granulator” and is formed into cylindrical pellets under high-pressure extrusion of the pressure roller and ring mold. Then, it is cut into standard lengths of 5-30mm by a cutting knife and temporarily stored in a buffer bin by a conveyor.
(5) Cooling process of sawdust pellets
The newly produced pellets enter the “counter current cooler” through a mesh belt conveyor, utilizing room temperature air convection heat exchange to lower the pellet temperature to room temperature, meeting storage, transportation, combustion, and application requirements.
