01 Raw material cleaning
First of all, the first step is to clean the raw materials to remove impurities. Because corn stover is usually in the field, it is inevitable that it will be mixed with many impurities and return, so it is necessary to remove the impurities and dust in it through the screening equipment. This can ensure the quality of corn stover pellets at the same time can also avoid the impurities in the raw material to the subsequent crusher and granulator damage.
02 Crushing corn stalks
Corn stalks are generally too large to be placed directly into the pelletizer. The ideal size of the raw material for the granulator is about 3mm, so we need to use the crusher to crush the corn stover to 2-3mm fine powder, to achieve the conditions of the corn stover granulator for granulation, and then the subsequent pelletizing.
03 Drying corn stalks (optional)
After crushing, according to the moisture content of the raw material for drying or water treatment. Generally speaking, the moisture content of the most suitable raw material for pelletizing should be about 13-15%. If the moisture content of your raw material is too high, it is recommended to use the dryer to dry the material to about 15%.
04 Corn stalks pelletizing

06 Packaging the pellets

Precautions for using the corn stalk pellet machine
Corn stover pelletizer is an environmentally friendly and efficient pelletizing equipment， which has the features of low maintenance rate and easy to use and operate. However, in order to ensure the molding rate of the pelletizer as well as to extend the service life of the equipment, it is recommended that you pay attention to the following precautions after purchasing the pelletizer:
- The moisture of raw materials should be treated to about 15% before putting them into the pelletizing machine for pelletizing. If the moisture of raw materials is too high, the pellets will be loose when pressed by the granulator, but if the moisture is too low, the materials will be difficult to be pressed and molded and the molding rate will be low and the degree of pulverization will be high. Therefore, it is recommended to test the moisture content of raw materials first. If the moisture content of the material is too high, you can choose to reduce the moisture of the material by drying or drying. If the moisture content is too low, you can add water to increase the humidity of the material.
- In addition to moisture, the size of the material will also greatly affect the granulation effect of the granulator.
