The main working principle of the cow dung fertilizer pellet mill is to put the crushed and dried cow dung into the feeder of the pellet mill, the material enters into the pelletizing chamber to be pelletized through the feeder, then the cow dung material fills up the gap of the ring die and the pressure roller, and finally transforms into cow dung pellets in the die holes to be extruded under the extrusion of the ring die and the pressure roller.
The length and diameter of cow dung pellets can be adjusted by adjusting the cutter device and replacing the ring die respectively to get the ideal size.

The production process of cow dung pellets is very similar to the biomass pellet production line, the difference is that the production of cow dung pellets needs to be rotted. The equipment needed in the cow dung organic fertilizer production line are: cow dung dewatering machine, fermentation turning machine, semi-wet material crusher, horizontal mixer, granulator, dryer, cooler, tumbler sifter, wrapping machine, packaging equipment, belt conveyor and so on.
Here are the production process of making cow dung pellets:
01 Proportion section
Firstly, the collected cow dung is mixed with straw and hay, and the moisture content of cow dung particles is controlled at about 65%. Stack the materials into long strips, then sprinkle aerobic fermentation bacteria on the stacks, and finally mix the materials well with the wheeled turner to let them fully ferment, and then use the turner to cool down the materials.
02 Cow dung crushing
After the cow dung is fully fermented and ripened, it needs to be crushed to 2-3mm powder. At this time, the machinery and equipment usually used is cow dung crusher.RICHI Machinery cow dung crusher is specially designed for crushing cow dung and other organic fertilizer multi-fiber materials. Adopting high-speed rotary chain, crushing fiber particle size is good.
03 Mixing section
Add trace elements, auxiliary materials, humic acid, clay, etc. for mixing and stirring. Adopting vertical mixer with fast mixing speed and good uniformity, it can mix viscous materials with 30% added liquid, and it has two paddle rotors with opposite rotation stirring in the middle when it is working. Adopting the lower opening door to discharge the material with fast speed and less residue.
04 Forming and pelletizing
Cow dung organic fertilizer pelletizer is used to pelletize the material. Cow dung pellet making machine does not need to dry the material before pelletizing, the moisture content of the material is about 20-55% can be used for direct pelletizing.

07 Sieving and Return Material System
As the pellets output from the granulation molding system have a certain difference in particle size, they need to be screened and graded. The selected drum sifter requires small vibration, low noise, easy to change the sieve, and is equipped with a sieve surface cleaning device.
