This Russian client is a small to medium-sized aquaculture farm and feed processing user. The client wanted to control investment costs as much as possible and planned to expand production in the future. Our technical engineers configured a compact and easy-to-operate fish feed production line for them.

This production line precisely controls the temperature and moisture content during the production process,preventing the fish feed pellets from disintegrating in the water and better retaining nutrients. Production Process of Fish Feed Production Line in Russia
This project comprises two fish feed production lines with capacities of 1.5–2 tons/hour and 5–6 tons/hour, respectively. The overall process flow of the two production lines is largely the same, with the main differences lying in the raw materials and the various equipment models. The complete fish feed production process is shown below:
1. Raw Material Receiving and Storage
Fishmeal, corn, soybean meal, and other raw materials enter the production line through receiving equipment and are temporarily stored in silos or storage bins to ensure uninterrupted production.
2. Raw Material Cleaning
The raw materials are first cleaned to remove impurities and metal objects, protecting the equipment for normal operation.
3. Raw Material Crushing
The cleaned raw materials enter a crusher and are crushed to a suitable fineness for subsequent processing.
4. Batching and Mixing
The ingredients are automatically weighed and batched according to the formula ratio and thoroughly mixed to ensure uniform nutrition in the feed.
5. Fish Feed Extrusion Molding
The mixture enters a fish feed extruder, where parameters are adjusted to produce floating or sinking fish feed.
6. Drying Process
Newly formed pellets enter the drying system to reduce moisture content and prevent mold and breakage.
7. Cooling and Shaping
Dried pellets are cooled to a higher temperature, making them more compact and easier to store and transport.
8. Screening and Recycling
Substandard pellets are screened out and recycled for reprocessing, ensuring a uniform finished product.
9. Automated Packaging
Qualified fish feed is automatically weighed and packaged for direct sale or aquaculture.
